About the department
The Fox River City Police Department is the city's primary law enforcement agency. Officers handle everything from routine traffic stops to felony pursuits, and are usually the first unit on scene for in-city calls.
PD is the largest department in the community and the most common starting point for new members. You will be trained from the ground up — no prior roleplay experience is required, only the willingness to learn and take the role seriously.
What you will do
- Routine patrol of city districts and response to dispatched calls
- Traffic enforcement, stops, and collision investigation
- Criminal investigation, arrests, and report writing in the CAD
- Pursuit operations under department policy
- Backing up Sheriff, State, and Fire/EMS units when requested
What is expected of you
- Maintain professional radio discipline at all times
- Know and follow use-of-force and pursuit policy
- Complete accurate citations and arrest reports in the CAD
- Attend department trainings and stay active weekly
- Escalate anything above your rank rather than improvising
