- Zones, frequencies, talkgroups and system IDs on a real radio head
- Busy lockout — keying up over someone is refused, not merged
- Emergency Traffic Only, with a tone that repeats until it is cleared
- Push to talk on desktop, hold-to-talk on a phone
Fox River City is brand new and being built in the open. Departments, the CAD, and this site are all still changing — expect rough edges, and tell us when you find one.
Fox River CityRoleplay
A professional Emergency Response: Liberty County community built around realistic, high-quality roleplay. Police, Sheriff, State, Fire & EMS, DOT, Dispatch, and Civilian Operations — running on our own custom CAD system.
Who we are
A city that runs like the real thing
Fox River City is built for members who want ER:LC roleplay taken seriously. Every department has a real chain of command, published expectations, and training — so when you key up on the radio, the people answering know what they are doing.
We are not a server where anything goes. Rules are enforced consistently, staff decisions are logged and reviewable, and promotions are earned through activity and performance rather than handed out. That structure is what makes the roleplay worth showing up for.
Whether you want to run traffic on the highway, command a fireground, dispatch the whole city, or just live an ordinary life as a civilian — there is a seat here for you.
Custom CAD / MDT
Our own dispatch system with live unit tracking, call queues, name and plate lookups, reports, and integrated radio. Available in your browser or as a Windows app.
Realistic operations
Structured departments with real rank ladders, published policy, and training. Scenes are run properly, not chaotically.
Active staff team
A trained moderation team with published guidelines, transparent appeals, and internal affairs oversight of staff conduct.
Regular sessions
Scheduled sessions announced in advance, plus spontaneous patrols. Priority scenarios are staff-approved and organized.

We built our own CAD
Not a spreadsheet, not a bot with slash commands, and not a rented service. Records, radio, dispatch and every department’s paperwork in one place — written for this community and changed the week somebody asks for it. Tap any of these for what it actually does.
- Spoken aloud — you hear it while alt-tabbed into the game
- Declares emergency traffic on that unit's channel automatically
- Lifts the busy lockout so nobody is blocked from responding
- Only dispatch clears it, and clearing it releases the channel
- Penal code with charges, fines and jail time computed server-side
- Field contacts for stops that produced no citation and no arrest
- Searches record their basis and flag themselves for supervisor review
- NCIC-style teletype returns you can copy straight into a report
- Live unit board with ten-codes, status timers and call assignment
- Tone-outs scoped to a department, with acknowledgements
- Push plate and person returns to a unit's screen, quietly
- Append-only call timeline nobody can rewrite
- Patient care reports and fire incident reports for Fire & EMS
- Closures, hazards, tow queue and roadway advisories for DOT
- Civilian characters, vehicle registration and reports to dispatch
- Ranks and permissions synced from Discord roles
- Department-scoped — command cannot discipline another department
- Members read their own record and appeal it
- Bans take effect on the next request, not when a token expires
- No real-world personal information is stored, anywhere

What a shift looks like
Real sessions, not staged shots. Everyone who appears in these is credited underneath — this community is built by the people in it.
The team
Who runs Fox River City
Small on purpose. You will be dealing with these two directly — both handles are here because the Roblox one is who you meet in the server and the Discord one is how you reach them afterwards.

Getting started
Four steps to your first patrol
- 01
Join the Discord
Everything starts in our Discord server. Read the rules, verify, and introduce yourself.
- 02
Pick a department
Browse the departments and find the role that fits how you want to play — or start as a civilian.
- 03
Apply
Submit an application for the department you want. Applications are reviewed by that department's command staff.
- 04
Get trained
New members are trained from the ground up. No prior roleplay experience required — just bring the right attitude.
Before you apply
Questions people actually ask
No. Most departments train from scratch and the application asks about attitude rather than hours played. If you have never done ER:LC roleplay before, say so — it is easier to teach somebody with no habits than to correct somebody with bad ones.
You need to be old enough to hold a conversation and take direction. We do not collect ages, dates of birth, or any other real-world personal information — the CAD stores your Discord identity, your callsign, and your in-character records, and nothing else.
For law enforcement, fire and dispatch, yes — the radio is voice and a unit who cannot answer a call is difficult to work with. Civilian roleplay does not require one.
It is our own computer-aided dispatch system: records, radio, unit status, reports and the panic button. Yes, it is required — every player creates a civilian character in it before playing, because a player the CAD cannot see is a player nobody can write a citation for.
Yes. Ranks come from your Discord roles and the CAD resolves all of them, so you can hold a police rank and a fire rank and switch between the panels without signing out.
Very. The community opens on 28 August and the CAD is being built in the open — features land most days and some of them break first. If you want a finished, five-year-old server this is not it. If you want to be early somewhere that is moving fast, it is.
Discipline is recorded, you can read your own record, and you can appeal it — the appeal is decided by somebody other than whoever issued it. Points expire; the record does not.
No. There is nothing to buy, no priority queue to pay for, and no rank behind a paywall.
